Nokia 6630 and MP3 music
There has been a lot OF discussions (ON cell phone forums) about the Nokia 6630 MP3 music files AND USING them
AS ringtones. I looked INTO this AND here IS what I FOUND out. Many Vodafone users IN UK AND other parts OF the world cannot play MP3 files ON
their Nokia 6630. This seems TO be a operator related issue. Someone pointed out that "Vodafone is known to restrict the mp3-ringtone feature
ON ALL its phones". Is there anything you can do
One possible solution is to convert the MP3 file into some other format. The Nokia 6630
should support WAV, MIDI AND AAC files also. If you have iTunes it automaticly converts MP3 music files TO AAC files (m4a). SOME people say
that AAC files ARE also ON the restricted list. THEN you could try WITH the WAV format...
At least I was able TO CONVERT a
wma file TO aac AND use it ON my Nokia 6630.
